A Clean New Approach

We have taken “A Clean New Approach” to ensuring our passengers are safe and secure so they can Travel Safely through Key West International Airport (EYW). The following measures highlight our efforts:

CLEANING AND SANITATION

EYW has enhanced the cleaning, and frequency of cleaning, of all public spaces and high touch points. We have also added touchless and anti-microbial versions of our restroom fixtures and dispensers, and we have deployed hand sanitizer stations throughout the Airport.

PLASTIC SHIELDS

Protective shields have been installed in key high-traffic areas, including ticket counters, TSA security checkpoints, boarding gates, and concession counters.

SOCIAL DISTANCING MARKERS

Ground markings and signs are in place to give guidance on social distancing at ticket counters, boarding gates, ground transportation, and other common areas.

REDUCED SEATING

Seating has been reduced or spaced apart to promote social distancing. Outdoor seating, beyond the security checkpoint, has also been renovated for passengers seeking an outdoor area. Additionally, the Airport is expanding the departure hall area with more space and a new seating configuration that will provide a more comfortable approach to social distancing.

Our Goal is to provide you with the confidence you need to travel to the places you want. Please be sure to arrive early for departing flights and to check with individual airlines for inflight mask requirements and other enhanced safety measures.
