December 2024 was Key West International Airport’s best December on record with a whopping 143,606 passengers using the airport for the month.
The latest numbers show it was a transformative 2024 for EYW, evidenced by ballooning passenger counts and continued construction on the airport's new eight-gate Concourse A.
Nearly 1.5 passengers used the airport in 2024, equating to a 9.7 percent bump for the year compared to 2023. December was a precursor to what is expected to be another record-breaking year ahead, while Concourse A is on the path to completion.
“The fact that we’ve been able to serve a 10 percent increase in passengers while building this new facility is a testament to the hard work of all involved,” said Executive Director Richard Strickland.
For the year, 1,449,649 passengers used the airport.
