Vertical columns have now been erected on the west side of the construction site with scheduled pours to continue next week. This will continue in sequence until columns and pile caps are complete. Night work has begun to energize the new electrical duct bank. The area will be covered with steel plates during operating hours.
Apron demolition could begin in June, pending an updated construction schedule and resolution of concrete mix designs.
Crews continue working on the deinstallation of artwork in the departure lounge. This work is in preparation for foundation work for the Concourse A pedestrian bridge and a new elevator shaft. This work will take place after hours and will not interfere with airline operations.
